Neverwinter Nights 2: NWN 2 Dedicated Server On Its Way

According to Darren Monahan, there is a dedicated server on its way in the very near future:

Hello everyone, happy New Year from all of us at Obsidian!

We're putting together the dedicated server for v1.03 and wanted to give you guys a quick peek into what we're doing.

As you all know, NWN2 is a big game in terms of disk space. Instead of releasing a huge download, we're putting together a very small tool that you can run that will create a dedicated server build for you locally. This build can be updated in the future, just like in NWN1, by running the included NWUpdate utility. We're hoping that this will be the faster solution for all of you, particularly those with limited speed connections.

I don't have an exact release date yet, but it should be posted within the next week to two weeks.

Unfortunately, this tool will not create or include a Mac or Linux version of this server. We hope to have better news on that front soon though.
