Everquest 2: SOE working with CBS to present real life player stories.

Over on the official forums, Grimwell's announced that SOE is teaming up with American televsion network CBS to "find people who have interesting stories about why they play online games".

The real question is whether or not this will end up as a half-buried "personal interest" piece on thier nightly news cast (which, according to Secretary of State, Condelezza Rice, is something "like, 55 in the ratings"), or whether it would end up on a show such as "60 Minutes".

Either way, it's at least a chance for gamers to give some fairly positive impressions of themselves. Several of the shared stories have caught my attention. Don't take my word for it, though. Take a look for yourself.
