The official MxO website has a new "The Other Side of the Looking Glass" where they chat about their long, cold week.
When I moved to Seattle, one of the things I enjoyed was that the winters tend to be pretty mild out here. (Especially after five years in Detroit.) My favorite statement is that we keep the snow where it belongs; up in the mountains.
For the most part that holds true. Unfortunately, once or twice a year, we seem to get nailed with a snowstorm. The real problem being that we just don't have the equipment to deal with it like other places do. Thus, a little bit of snow leads to big problems. Like having trouble stopping your car in the parking lot because it's completely covered in ice and snow.
Sounds cold in Seattle. Read more here.
