Neverwinter Nights 2: Top Three NWN 2 Improvements

According to this official forum post by new Community Representative Khaveen, Obsidian is asking its users for their top three suggestions for improving NWN 2:[blockquote]Obsidian and the NWN2 Community Representatives are committed to ensuring that the voice of the community is heard and that the issues and improvements most important to the community are duly considered in each game patch. We invite you to share with us your own top three most important suggestions for improving the game.

The intent with this topic is to gather data in order to build a better, more representative list of issues that are most important to the general community. At this time, we are not looking to judge or debate the ideas, but just to collect them and assess how much interest there is in each suggestion.

Please follow these guidelines when posting:

* Please stay on topic and refrain from discussions of the merits or details of other posters' suggestions. Opening up a separate topic to discuss those merits in detail, however, is certainly welcome.

To help get this started, we have put together our own lists. You guys can help guide us in how close to or far off from the mark we are:

Mortis Nai:

Suggestion 1: Autodownload of PWC file and other content with redirect to a separate server URL.

Why? Multiplayer is essentially broken as is, you cannot join a Multiplayer game without having to close off and download additional files. This will Streamline the process and is something we have asked for since the early days of the Original NWN's.

Suggestion 2: Undo Function for Exterior Terrain (even if it is just an undo last action.)

Why? Creation of Exteriors is a precision act and requires making back ups of areas before altering terrain. An undo function will not only make Exteriors more user friendly but will help save module builders time, effort and frustration, thus putting SP Mods in players hands sooner.

Suggestion 3: An Exporter for, or Alternative to Granny 3D.

Why? Custom Content was an important part of NWN's and allowed builders of both SP and MP Modules to create some very beautiful, unique, creative and imaginative settings and do some truly amazing things and Granny is currently a huge rock in the road that they are unable to walk around without Obsidians help and support.

Why? Currently not functioning correctly, is a problem in multiplayer.
