Star Wars Galaxies: SWG for Vista?

Planning to upgrade to Windows Vista soon? SWG Build Master Tereb has a little info that should help you stay in the game:

Currently SWG is not supported under Vista, meaning that customer service/technical support cannot guarantee a resolution if you encounter a problem. With that said however, I find that SWG runs under Vista as long as you use the Run as Administrator option. To use this, Right Click on the Star Wars Galaxies shortcut, go to Properties, then click the Compatibility tab. At the bottom, put a checkmark in "Run as Administrator". That will allow the game to patch properly and it should run.
