Neverwinter Nights 2: Toolset Review #2 at NW Vault

Lanessar has posted his portion of the toolset review, scoring the toolset at 7.75/10.00. This is the fourth in a seris of reviews at NW Vault's comprehensive look at all aspect of Neverwinter Nights 2:

A shining beacon of hope is the community communication level from the developers. They've been putting out patches in short order, fixing many issues, with more issues yet to fix being addressed. This alone will make or break the toolset, and the game. And I personally like what I see so far. Josh Sawyer and several others have been posting a lot, and addressing the concerns of the CC people. This is good, for it makes for a bright future for this game. My personal belief is that about 80% of the projects out there will want to wait until the pioneer-types sort out the issues, create the scripts and write the tutorials and plugins, and the developers patch the game a bit. If the plugins created just since release are any indication, the time invested to make a mod will be going down drastically in about 12 months, due to all the user content being released and patches fixing up things which do not currently work. I give the NWN2 Toolset a rating of 7.75.
