NW Vault's continuing review series hits number five with another original campaign review. Scoring the OC 7.85/10.00, review QSW says:
NWN2 is overall a very good game with hours upon hours of entertainment value. It is without a doubt, a resource hog, demanding pretty high end hardware to run really well. However, it also gives the player an amazing amount of control that ranges from game graphic/optimizing options, to in game fully controllable companions. You will have the chance to manage your own fort, craft to your hearts delight, use various skills in abundance, as well as play from both sides of the alignment spectrum. NWN2 in my opinion, delivers a more than value for money experience, as well as the tools for builders in the community to keep on providing the player with amazing game-play.
And wrapping it all up:
NWN2 has been a lot of fun, and certainly is in my opinion worth every penny spent on it, and then some. I might be one of the few people don't compare it to its predecessor, for me NWN2 stands well enough on its own. I am desperately hoping there will be at least one expansion, and once I find the time, I intend to play through the OC one more time, just for pure simple fun! Heck, I might even try some of those other races and classes that are on offer, or may even try some of the crafting too, assuming I am in a deranged frame of mind *winks*
