Vandelheart (of Templar Gaming Horizons) has posted two very excellent stories in our Roleplayer's Corner. The first wonderful story is the Birth of Maladak, an excellent weaving about the hatching of the dragon Maladak. His second work, Pleasures of Home, is the story of Maladak and his sister Aruna, on one sunny day.
Here's an exerpt from Birth of Maladak
A glimmer quickly shot across the skies heading directly toward the highest peaks of Black Mountain. On the ground below the glimmer a massive winged shadow eclipsed the normally lush green plains that surrounded the deadly mountains this creature called home. The sun bounced off the brilliant silver plates of the dragon as he looked up from his shadow that tailed him from below.
The silver dragon was large for his kind, so large that the humans that lived nearby had dubbed him "The Mercury River". As he extend the large sheets of metal that were his wings to begin the ascent to the peaks of Black Mount, he chuckled at the little names that the humans gave him even though he had told them he was called Kusuh.
Hopefully we'll see more wonderful tales of Maladak and his sister in times to come!
