MMOs Shut Out of Game Developer Choice Awards

In another sign that MMOs had a terrible year in 06, the genre has not received a single nomination for the Game Developer Choice Awards. Given away each year at GDC (WarCry will be there), these awards are the closest to peer recognition the interactive entertainment industry has.

The big nominees are Gears of War, Viva Pinata, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and others.
