Sen. Brownback Seeks To Ban Deceptive Games

| 15 Feb 2007 13:47

CNet News has an interesting story on Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas), a presidential primary candidate who wants to ban any video games not "played in their entirety" by the ESRB. This is obviously a reaction to Hot Coffee where some content slipped by them.

The sentiment would make sense in other industries. It wouldn't be absurd to ask a book rating board to read the whole book before rating it (speaking of which, why isn't there a book rating board? To Kill A Mockingbird is surely corrupting someone somewhere). However, good luck "finishing" Vanguard.
