Xbox 360 Game Sales Climb

Statistics recently released for January game sales show that Microsoft's Xbox 360 sold 294,000 games that month. This is up 18% over the same month in 2006. A good sign, although not altogether unpredictable given the number of people who likely got them for Christmas this year in absence of their competitors.

What should be interesting, is the sales data for console sales in January. The PS3 is now readily available and sitting on shelves in most places, so the comparison with the 360 may be more fair.
