Everquest 2: Is Kunark The Next Expansion?

Theories abound and speculations run rampant about SOE's next (and as-yet-unannounced) expansion, but one thing is very clear - on February 15 SOE registered the trademark EVERQUEST II RISE OF KUNARK with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (just search for RISE OF KUNARK to see the entry).

If this is indeed the next expansion, it will make many gamers very happy, as the Kunark expansion for EverQuest Live was one of the most popular. Time will tell if this does come to fruition, but the sooner the better. Come on, SOE - is this it? Tell us, you know you want to.
