Everquest 2: Coming to Theatres: "EverQuest"?

According to a Februrary 9th entry on Alan Crosby's "Brenlo's World" blog, it would seem that an Everquest movie could possibly be in the works:

Yair Landau, the esteemed and most admired Vice Chairman of SPE and President of SPDE, announced during his keynote at DICE that an EverQuest movie is in the very early stages of development (as in being talked about)

"We're working with one of my favorite producers right now on an idea for an EverQuest movie."

If done well, a fantasy movie set in Norrath could be a great thing and I eagerly look forward to hearing more about the project.

We can only hope that a Bixiebopper will be included.
