Ever think "I wonder if anyone else plays DAOC, or is it just really me alone in this virtual world?" Well of course those hours spent snuggled up to the radiated glow of your monitor can not be forgotten. There are people who are just as lonely, and deprived of enjoying practices such as "Washing the Dishes", or my favorite "Walking the Dog". Instead we gamers take that experience to the next level, by completely denying things exist outside our own world. So in all reality a Cleric really can heal, and might just be your next-door neighbor, followed by a group of young low-level shield bearing kids who swear by using sword over poleaxes. Now at this point you might think you are too heavily involved into this game, but I say why not just live more of it!
Net Heads is a gaming community that is local to me here in Indianapolis. For a few bucks an hour you can game, and drink to your hearts content. This could possibly be the best two things that anyone could enjoy in one day. They host a variety of games, but as of late they have been putting on Dark Age of Camelot events. Only July first, and every 1st Tuesday of each month they plan a Dark Age of Camelot "Conclave".
You may ask what is a Conclave? Well going by their post on the web-site you can see for yourself:
What is the Conclave? It is an exclusive gathering of DAOC and Shrouded Isles players. Power leveling, Dungeon raids and crawls, Crafting sessions, and special contests are in store for those who attend.
Want more Information? Check out their web-site! Want to know if I am going? You must e-mail me to find that out. Remember this is for Indianapolis residents only. I encourage you all though to check out your local computer gaming centers, most of them hold events such as these.
