Auto Assault: Pre-U4 Release Changes Hit PTS *Updated*

In the growing anticipation for the imminent Update 4 release in the few days ahead, Zzyn release new changes tot he Public Test Server. The changes deal mainly with Human and Mutant skills in addition to a complete overhaul to Pet attributes.

Overall the balancing act is getting very near to completion for the U4 release, and what will remain is squashing the minor-but-important bugs.

PTS Patch Notes [02/27/07] by Zzyn

-Tech Certification fixed

-Fort Logan newbie tour mission fixed.

-Lowered cooldown on Coolant consumables to 20 seconds

-Added defensive bonus to Deflector Shield

-Lowered debuff amount on Crippling Aura

-Lowered the amount debuffed by Assimilate, reduced amount buffed

-Increased damage done by Chlorofire

-Increased damage on Vengeance, lowered debuff slightly

-Increased the damage on Phased Ammo, removed Penetration bonus

-Increased damage on Electrical Radiation

-Lowered resists on Armor Adept, added defensive component

-Removed friend target from Intel Brief

-Added self target to Cover Fire

-Can now place 10 points into Impairment

-Lowered duration of Impairment debuff

-Lowered power cost on Diatonic Wave

-Increased percent bonus to hit on Resonant Amplifier

-Lowered power cost of Rally Colors to an appropriate level

-Increased bonus to hit on High Voltage Bolt

-Increased bonus to hit on Satellite Strike

-Found missing point of Penetration on Veteran Tactics, it has been punished and promises to not run away again

-Cooldown on Polarize increased

-Lowered the amount debuffed by Assimilate, reduced amount buffed. Duration of debuff component lowered

-Lowered power cost on Nano Scrambler Turret

-Toxic Attenuation should be working now, if Zzyn hasn't broken it again

-disarm.virus is now worth taking to 10 ranks

-Advanced Implant should now have a working Tech component

-Lowered debuff amount on Amplifying Nanites, rollovers should now indicate extent of debuff

-Hardened Lacquer given damage add to corrosive weapons, removed accuracy with corrosive component

-Hazardous Cleansing should now cleanse an enemy in a very hazardous way, duration of debuff decreased due the hazardousness of it

-Blood Spike should now be spiking in a very spikey manner

-Corrected text on Hostile Environment Training to indicate previous changes

-Intel brief skill descriptions corrected to reflect that lieutenants can cast the skill on themselves or their pets.

-Changed the power return on Overload Reception to remove possible exploit. Power cost changed as well

-Corrected skill description on Phase Induction

-Blood Affinity should now work correctly

-Players vehicles that stay invisible for an extended period of time, as in staying in hazard mode for the entire length, will no longer be removed from convoy's after reappearing. [this is the 'blue' convoy member bug]

-The selection in the auction house's first filter item box for race items has been taken out and race items can be found in the sub category box under items.

-Remaining Error Messages and Auction and Mail messages moved to the combat window.

-Tourney rapid-barking should be gone now.

-Hestia Leadership - FIXED

-Lowered Theory and Tech on Cunning -FIXED

-Influx has a defensive bonus now instead of Penetration - FIXED

-Pets should now be able to hit things other than the really weak *All pets should be updated now. We *should* see a wholesale improvement. Testing will tell for sure.

-Cover Fire is now self only for both BH and Commando

-Luminary buff decreased (Archon)

-Blood Affinity text corrected

-Small text update to Ursaic Monolith

-Small text update to Laserbot

-Text update to show Defense add for Deflector Shield (COM)

-MM version of Cunning updated to match Agent's

-Influx shows its Defense bonus

-Armor Adept shows its Defense bonus

-Focus of Attention works correctly with HP and Defense bonus

-Smoke Cloud lasts 3 seconds at rank 1, 7 seconds at max rank (single pulse with duration of debuff increases as more ranks are purchased)

-Encrusted Blood has a Defense bonus now

-Defense on Resilience increased

-Lowered Defense on Combat Engineering, reduced buff length

-Added more Offense to Spirit Sense

-Added Accuracy for all Damage types to Congealed Blood

-Lowered Power cost on Strategic Analysis, increased duration of buff

-The Mutant and Biomek custom 2-wheel tires that were previously dropping for only Humans have been fixed to be the appropriate race. Humans were getting all three race's 2-wheel custom tires. This has been corrected. So yes, it is possible that some Humans are in possession of the misplaced tires.

-Deconstitution
-Lowered defensive bonus of focus of attention, added small hitpoint bonus - still not adding hp or def, problem has been identified
-Increased power per pulse on smoke cloud, reduced duration of each pulse - really, really broken now.
-Mutant tour mission still cannot be completed by any class other than Avenger.
