Gods And Heroes: New Info on How Those Cool Combat Moves Will Work

Some questions about how those cool moves would work, and if they were a bit over the top was asked on the Forums. Binky was kind enough to clarify it a bit for us!

Just to clarify a few things in this thread (which I am really enjoying reading):

- You are the Son or Daughter of a god, you just don't know it. You learn more about it as you play the story arc.

- You cannot "spam" the moves over and over, there are timers for each of the moves. And creatures also have a random chance of performing special moves so they do not repeat special pared moves over and over. There are also other factors that come into play for certain animations such as health, level, and energy.

- Some of the special moves you see people getting up from are special death moves that will only play when you are within the damage threshold, so no, you wont be getting up.

- The biggest thing to remember is that this is above all, a game. Some things aren't going to be realistic and we are taking some liberties with certain things such as getting the tar beat out of you then getting back up.

I think that once you play it you will see that the pace of these moves actually works pretty well.
