Dark Age Of Camelot: The Grab Bag For You

| 10 Mar 2007 02:06

Q: Can Purge 1 be pre-cast, and still remove the negative effects that occur "after" the five-second delay was initiated. Or does it just remove the negative effects that were applied "before" you activated it?

Q: I just repaired a ring. It went from 100% dur to 83% dur in one single repair. It was a new item too, not something I bought from a housing merchant.

Q: Okay, I did read the patchnote and the grab bag (I always do) but still I can't seem to figure out what you accually did to the tradeskill tools (in this case the Well-made Armor Etching Tool).

Reading the grab bag made me think that you increased the quality of crafted items with 2% unless that would make it 100% or more, then it wouldn't use a charge and not change the item quality, but it seems what you actually did was lower the buttom level with 2% making roughly 75% 98 quality and roughly 25% 99 quality (and the normal 2% 100 quality).

Is this correct, and if it's correct please explain why as I see it as a major downgrade of the tools not really making it worth running the quests (or buying them from fletchers in the future).

Q: Does shield size matter (as far as block rate goes) against one attacker?

Q: I have a level 50 enchanter RR9 ML10 champ 10. I'm specced 50 mana 4 light 20 enchant. What I'm trying to figure out is with +18 to all spell lines, can I effectively respec to a lower level mana (and put those points in light or enchantments) without losing the amount of damage I do in the mana spell line? And if I do that, do I need to increase my focus level as well to keep it at the same damage rate?

Q: When 1.88d goes live, is draw time now ONLY affected by Dex, or does Quickness still affect it?

Q: Does speed of the Bow matter anymore, as far as draw time is concerned? Does a slower bow increase dps?

Q: "- We want "50 spec" to mean something. In the new system, someone with 50 spec will consistently outperform someone with a 35 spec".

Well, I think 50 bow spec will be mostly a NERF to Rangers, mainly because Rangers have to train 5 skills, whereas Scouts and Hunters only have train 4 skills, with all 3 Archer classes getting the same 2.0 training points per level.

Q: Why is it that a Minstrel can charm a red con pet, while other classes cannot?

Q: Will the Valewalker Scythe style Nature's Shield still block arrows?
