Lots of behind the scenes work being done as we get closer and closer to launch:

The LOTRO forums will be brought down on Wednesday, March 14 from 10:30 - 11:00 AM EDT for a hardware upgrade. We expect the hamster to survive. Please note that the LOTRO website will also be down during this time. Thanks for your understanding!

I believe the beta forums are also affected by that brief outage. And here is the billing outage detail:

The Turbine account maintenance site at http://myaccount.turbine.com will be down on Wednesday, March 14 from 8:00AM - 6:00PM EDT for maintenance. During this time, players will be unable to make changes to their Turbine account settings. Thanks for your understanding!
