NPD February Console Sales: Wii, DS Dominate

The monthly NPD sales reports are out and once again, the Nintendo Wii is up in the console wars. This months numbers place the Wii first, followed by the PS2 (reduced prices), Xbox 360 and finally the Playstation 3 (which sold less units than the GameBoy Advanced!). In the handheld wars, the Nintendo domination continued, as the DS trounced the PSP once again.

• Nintendo DS - 485,000 units
• Nintendo Wii - 335,000
• Xbox 360 - 228,000
• Playstation 3 - 127,000
• Playstation 2 - 295,000
• Sony PSP - 176,000
• GameBoy Advanced - 136,000
