Star Wars Galaxies: Column: A Look Back & and a Look Forward

| 24 Jun 2003 17:15

Kegyen has posted his latest column for everyone to read and talks about his history throughout the SWG beta and is a great timeline of his journey through SWG. Which we all know will change in 2 DAYS!

Since I really cannot do his column any justice by talking about it I'll just post a snippet instead.

"Beta was a blast for me, it was just an amazing amount of fun and pride wrapped into one. I still feel extremely honored and proud to have been able to test and make this game a little better in doing so. At the same time it was a lot of fun and I am sad to see it end. Not because I don't want the game to go live or to keep playing for free, but because Bria had become a home of sorts and the people I came to knew will be scattered across many servers. Friendships, rivalries and sheer enmity formed between people and Player Associations in beta, all these will be gone with one big blast from the Dev Death Star. However, as Winston Churchill once said, "This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
