GameStop CEO Speculates That Wii Shortage Is Intentional

Gamasutra has an article up that plucks some rather interesting comments from a GameStop investors conference call. CEO R. Richard Fontaine speculated during the call that Nintendo had in fact held back stock of their hard to find Nintendo Wii, having already met this financial year's targets and people should expect supply to flow in April.

Absurd for consumers, but on the bright side, perhaps everyone who has not already can finally get a Wii sometime in early April!
