GOA has launched a new online game portal (GOA.com) today and with it two games in open beta. Gunbound, a platform view, group cartoon combat game (think Small Arms or Super Smash Brothers) and Pangya, a Golf MMO, have both hit open beta on this site. GOA, who is also the European partner for Dark Age of Camelot, is letting anyone who signs up test out the English language versions of these Korean games.
The GOA.COM portal and our initial games have now entered the public beta phase. After careful internal testing we are making the final checks, including a maximum number of players, before the portal is definitively up and running.
The virtual wallet feature, for online purchasing, will not be available during this period. However, you can still equip your characters using the money (Pangs and Gold) which you can earn by playing the games. Your characters, their evolution and their earnings will carry through the beta test period to the open release.
Should you need assistance while you are playing you can contact Customer Support by checking the FAQ. Just remember that you need to log into the portal first.
Check it out at GOA.com.
