Asherons Call: It's Time to Test the New Forums

OK, today is the day.

1) You need to register. Registration on these forums is NOT like our current. It's one name per email address. So, choose your name wisely, it's what you'll be across the WarCry network unless you register under a second email address. And no more getting caught up in sub-net bans!

2) If you use Opera or Mozilla (Netscape 7+) you will not have the option for In-Line Rich Text Formatting. We apologize but this was just too buggy to currently apply our resources to as we want to get private messaging done as soon as possible.

3) If your signature is larger than 500 characters, you'll need to lessen it. Sowwy.

These forums have in-line rich text formatting, a spell-checker and a New! function whenever you visit you'll see posts that are, well, new. They have the ability to allow super-mods to edit a post and therefore we'll not have to delete entire threads because of something against the CoC way at the top.

They are DIFFERENT and therefore will take some time to get used to. Work with them, and give us feedback. Because once we have these nice and stable the private messaging will be added.

We need your help determining whether they are stable, so please test them and give us feedback. Statements such as "I don't like them" won't help. Please, state "I don't like them because...". We've set up three sticky posts for suggestions.

Also, there are options for changing the way the forums look. For those of you who prefer flat forums with bump sorting by all means - change it! Play with the options. And have fun!
