Neverwinter Nights 2: Atari President Bruno Bonnell Steps Down

| 5 Apr 2007 04:00

Atari president, Bruno Bonnell, has unexpectedly stepped down from his position according to both WarCry (via Voodoo Extreme) and 1Up.com.

Bruno Bonnell was not just one part of Atari corporate. In addition to being their chief creative officer, Bonnell was also chairman of the board, acting CFO and a director of the company, not to mention the Infogrames (the company who owns Atari) CEO and director. And, as of today, he is no longer any of those -- he has left the company.
Atari issued a brief release announcing Bonnell's departure, but cited no reasons.

This is a very interesting turn of events and one which we will keep a close eye on.
