Contradicting reports from late last week, an Electronic Arts spokesperson has denied that the company has signed any agreement with The9, save for the distribution of FIFA Online in that country. Reports circulated last week that the US publisher had purchased a 19% stake in the Chinese company, who distribute World of Warcraft and other major titles in China.
