Neverwinter Nights 2: NWN 2 Expansion: Legacy of the Gith?

In the "rumor mill" department, an interesting topic was brought up on the official forums by site user Jeremiah69. Apparently EB Games is sporting a new page regarding an expansion for NWN 2 called "Legacy of the Gith".

At this point, the rumor is utterly unsubstantiated though we've known for some time now that there is indeed an expansion in the works. As of this writing, we are attempting to track down EB's source of information and will report anything new when applicable.

In the meantime...dream of the Gith or listen to Rob McGinnis's explanation:

Rob McGinnis: That posting by EBGames is a mistake. There have been no announcements of an expansion.

Plus, Legacy of Gith was a working title for NWN2, I believe.

Either way, it's fun to dream.
