Sony Claims 800,000 PS3s Sold In Europe

| 17 Apr 2007 14:49

Sony CEO Howard Stringer says that the company has sold 800,000 Playstation 3s in Europe since the console debuted there earlier this year. That is an impressive total for a console that has had trouble in every other market in which it debuted and undeniably good news for Sony.

Gamasutra has the report.

In other Playstation 3 news, the company also hinted that it may launch a version of the console with an even larger hard drive. Reuters has that article.
