Lord Of The Rings Online: Pre-order Grace Period Info

Lots of questions have been asked about the grace period for pre-order customers. Well marketroid has made the following announcement:

Hello everyone,

As we near the end of Open Beta, we wanted to take a moment to provide the latest information on the transition of Pre-order customers' subscriptions from Open Beta to Live. Access to the Open Beta will end in the early hours of the 24th (Eastern Time). Open Beta players who have not Pre-ordered by April 24th will be able to play only after purchasing a retail edition of the game.

Pre-order customers who apply their key prior to the 24th will automatically be extended through April 29th. This grace period is designed to help Pre-order customers in the event of unexpected delays in their getting the retail edition of the game. Most Pre-order customers shouldn't have any problems getting the game on the 24th, but the grace period will help those customers who may have opted for surface mail delivery.

After April 29th, all Pre-order customers will be required to have retail product keys applied to their accounts in order to continue playing.

We hope this policy will help ease the transition from beta to live for as many players as possible!
