Windows XP Back on New Dell PCs By Popular Request

| 23 Apr 2007 14:51

Dell has changed course after a consumer outcry and decided to start selling Windows XP and more computers after so many people requested it over the latest and greatest thing from Microsoft, Windows Vista.

It's hard to blame them. Ironically, the only thing that does work on my PC since I "upgraded" is video games. Most everything else produces some fun blue screen of death action.

Responding to customer demand Dell has restarted selling new PCs with Windows XP installed on them.

The decision reverses a policy begun in January that meant Windows Vista was the only operating system available on almost all new home machines.
