This update, which was released on April the 18th, gives access to the new critical missions. They will be "activated" every Thursday for players to take a look at. SOE implemented this kind of system for releasing critical missions to keep players jacked in. And so far, it's working for alot of people. They've gotten a lot of good feedback from players who stays jacked in frequently to be able to run the critical missions when they come out.
The patch also gives all of the redpills out there what most of them has been lusting for: The 7.2 cinematic.
Soon after the patch was released though, some problems occurred. People could now stack their title upgrades, which would make them extremely overpowered. The developers of The Matrix Online were fast to bring out a hotfix for the update which fixed this problem along with a sneak and invisibility buff bug.
