Over on the official forms one of the community members named Kurakkon started a newbie guide thread. The rest of the community is chipping in on the thread and its off to a great start. Post rang from the extremely funny to the very helpful. Stop by and learn something new, or leave your sage like wisdom.

6) When thinking about attacking monsters, ALWAYS be sure to check the 'dots' which arc across the target dialog, from left to right. The less dots, the easier opponent. Also be sure to check the colour of the dots. Green = easier, yellow = harder, etc. Don't think that one creature is the same difficulty as another that looks the same.
