Quarion has posted information on an emergency hotfix to fix the server crashing issue:

All worlds will be brought down for a brief maintenance at sometime between 3:30 and 4:30pm EST. We hope to have the worlds back online by 6:30pm EST. We are going to attempt to bring down the worlds as soon as possible to complete the fix before the weekend begins.
