World Of Warcraft: Setting the stage for World of Warcraft

As many of you may now know, many factors of The Frozen Throne are setting the stage for World of Warcraft. I won't get into storyline details just yet, but Blizzard has recently explained the reasons for changing the names of several units in The Frozen Throne: preparing for World of Warcraft.

Q: "Why did you change the names/art for some of the units in the game?"

A: "In preparation for World of Warcraft, we wanted to update certain units in The Frozen Throne to give them more stylized, more distinct appearances and names. Since World of Warcraft will offer an in-depth perspective on familiar regions and epic battlefields from the lands of Azeroth, we took this opportunity to evolve the units in a way that made some of their bold characteristics more unique and exclusive to the Warcraft universe."
