World Of Warcraft: Nihilum Finishes the Black Temple

EU guild Nihilum killed Illidan Stormrage earlier today, making them the first guild to successfully complete the Black Temple. SK Gaming has an interesting interview up with one of the members of Nihilum, Nessaj, about the nature of the encounters in the Black Temple.

The speed of their progression sparked a massive debate among those who, like myself, have been watching slackjawed as Nihilum tore through the Black Temple as if it were made of wet tissue paper. This thread on the Elitist Jerks forum, started by a Nihilum member, asks the question: is the deluge of new content in TBC better than the slow trickle of vanilla WoW?

Somewhere around the middle, Tigole chimed in, reminding us that well-tuned content is intended to be devoured quickly and that even if that does occur, they're hard at work developing more content. He even acknowledges the frustration caused by seemingly arbitrary "gear-blocks" such as the Onyxia cloak fiasco.

While this sudden devouring of content may come as a surprise to those who remember the days when Blackwing Lair was fresh, it seems like it's an intentional change on the part of the developers.
