Sony Promises 380 New Playstation 3 Games This Year

Sony has promised 380 new Playstation 3 games in this business year to help boost sales of the third-place console. This comes out of financial meetings the company held in Japan. There are about 150 games currently available for the PS3, including online titles.

Sony Chief Executive Howard Stringer said at the annual shareholders' meeting that the company will review its dividend policy once it has achieved its profitability target for the year to March 2008, raising the possibility of future dividend hikes.
