Asherons Call: Kwip talks about AC in The Escapist

In the latest issue of The Escapist, Kwip writes about Putting the "Massive" in "Massive" Multiplayer Online. In the article, Kwip talks about how Turbine and Asheron's Call broke from the norm of games such as EQ and UO:
And then, Asheron's Call launched in late 1999 and introduced a radical concept: no zones in a three-dimensional world - just one, big continuous continent. Seamless.
