Creative Director David Bowman once again stopped by IGN's RPG Vault to let us in on another aspect in development. This time the subject is Empire structures. Here's a snip:

An Empire structure is any construction that results in a potential benefit to the entire player base, not just an individual. These structures are not located on player-purchasable plots (not that some plots won't allow for the construction of similar structures; they just wouldn't provide a universal potential benefit). They exist throughout Istaria, and more will be discovered or constructed as players explore the world.
