Asherons Call: GDC Article on Gamespy

Gamespy has posted an interesting article detailing some of the discussions held at the Game Developer Conference last week regarding Massive Multiplayer Online Games and their future. Asheron's Call 2 gets a few mentions, but the article mostly revolves around the industry as a whole and the direction future games might take. One interesting point was that developers hope that future games will be less like theme parks, where the players have little to no control of the world around them, and hopefully much more dynamic communities.
