Auto Assault: Scott Brown Comments - FiringSquad

In an article on FiringSquad.com NetDevil CEO Scott Brown commented on Auto Assault's closing and hinted at a possible car combat MMO in the future:

NetDevil tried to come to terms with AutoAssault's publisher NCSoft to perhaps take over the publishing duties of the game (NCSoft actually owns the AutoAssault name, not NetDevil) but an agreement could not be reached. However, Brown told us that they are still interested in doing a similar game that wouldn't have the AutoAssault name. "We think there is room for a car combat MMO game," he told us. In fact he admitted that they have been in talks with interested third parties about creating a new car combat MMO but Brown would not go into specifics at this point.

Will we see another Auto Assault any time soon?
