What is your real name? Joe "GreyPawn" Pishgar.

What is your official title/position? Community Manager. Which is fancy-speak for lightning rod, herder of cats, metatronic mediator and organic pain receptacle.

How long have you been working on Star Wars Galaxies? Since June 25, 2007.

What profession do you like to play in Star Wars Galaxies? So far, Jedi. I plan to get to them all in turn. Next on my list after Jedi is smuggler.

Why do you like that profession? It offers lightsabers, Force lightning, and the ability to excuse personal newbishness on the whims of the Force.

What is it you like to do while in-game? (PvE, PvP, exploring, etc)? I enjoy PvE quite a bit, but I really like the competitiveness and adrenaline rush that comes with PvP. I will admit though, I'm a sucker for good role-play. For me, nothing beats the immersion one can experience in truly deep in-game role-playing.

Do you solo or play with others, why? I have a strong tendency towards powergaming, and that generally throws grouping out the window for the first 60% of most online games for me. But at heart, I am a guildie and crave the social network a player association can provide. To answer in less complicated terms, I solo for the first half of my character's development, and I group for the latter half. [p]Other than working on the game, what keeps you playing (or what is your favorite thing about the game)? No contest there. Player-run cities are the biggest feature in my book. As a former 10-year veteran of Ultima Online and mayor of my own "player-run city" in the pretend role-playing style, having an actual game system in place to support the clustering of player-owned property is a fantastic feature that I can't wait to dive into.
