Asherons Call: Enjoy This Spoof! (Update)

We received a VERY scary spoof in our inbox just a moment ago, which for a moment had a few of the staff believing the end was near for Asheron's Call. This link apparently tells of some additional changes Microsoft and Turbine did while the worlds were down to correct what some see as the imbalance created by experience chains. However, if you look at the structure of the URL above it is:

http://zone.msn.com@209.197.29.5/ASHEletter0302-2.asp

You can put anything before the @ sign and it can create the impression of being on any domain. Also, I spoke to Ken Karl of Microsoft about it and he verified again that it was indeed a spoof.

Update: The link above is no longer displaying the spoof page and now only contains the words "April Fools". Sorry, we don't have a cache of the page, so if you missed out you missed out. Honestly, probably not a good idea to keep spreading around false information anyway.
