Now that more and more players are hitting 70 and getting attuned for Karazhan, the necessity for a weekly reset is being called into question by both players and developers. Drysc has responded to these concerns:
It's definitely something that's been in some discussions, but obviously the biggest factor we have to take into consideration is how quickly players are progressing through the content and if lowering the reset timer would be prohibitive to progression. That isn't to say the majority of players attempting it aren't progressing fast enough, I don't have that data, but a decision on lowering the reset time would definitely have to be based on such factors.
Lowering the reset timer on Karazhan to make it comparable with the shorter timers for ZG and AQ20 could not only help gear up alts but also give guilds that are unable to field 25 members for the larger raids something to do during the week rather than wait for Zul'aman to come out.
