Asherons Call: Another Danger to Selling in Asheron's Call

An interesting situation that has shown up in recent weeks that was brought to our attention in a recent e-mail. Apparently some of those who are selling items in Asheron's Call are being scammed out of the money they were to have received for the sale of the items. The person who contacted us mentioned that recently he was the victim of this scam. He sold an account to someone and later the buyer disputed the credit card charge. He goes on to say that since Paypal offers no buyer/seller protection and no tangible goods were exchanged, the charges were reversed and he is without any recourse.

Yet another danger in the growing online game market, and while there are other services to try besides Paypal, in the end, "let the seller beware."
