World Of Warcraft: Windfury Hotfix Goes Live

Yesterday Nethaera informed everybody that a hotfix had gone live for the Windfury Totem:

- Windfury Totem will no longer trigger for any "yellow" attacks unless they are on next swing attacks, such as Heroic Strike and Cleave.

While many immediately saw this as a stealth nerf to not only the shaman class but melee DPS in general, Nethaera was quick to remind the community that the change had been intended since the launch of Burning Crusade and that bigger and better things were coming down the line for Shaman as stated at Blizzcon.

Many petitions regarding the change have sprung up and been locked down since the announcement yesterday.
