Fury: Fury Challenge - Details announced

Alex Weekes, Fury Community Manager, announced today the details on the Fury Challenge. There has also been updates to the Challenge site.

What is FURY Challenge?

FURY Challenge is a unique Open Beta event designed to give players a taste of FURY competitive ladders.

Played over three consecutive weekends starting on Friday, September 14, FURY Challenge gives players the opportunity to test their skills against up to 500,000 players from all around the world and earn real world prizes.

What can I win?

FURY Challenge offers more than $1,000,000 in prizes!

Sponsors include Dell, NVidia, Logitech, IGN, GameStop and many more. The full list of prizes and sponsors is constantly being added to so keep checking back for details.

Auran, developer of FURY, will be topping up the prize pool with FURY Game Cards which can be redeemed in the full retail version of FURY.

Be recognised by your peers as one of the FURY Challenge Champions.

I'm looking forward to the battles. The site even says there will be more challenges during retail that can be entered with ingame gold. If you don't have enough gold you can purchase game cards for more gold according to the business model announced recently.
