Day 1:

 
Hello all.

If it is ok with all of you, I was going to start a journal of my adventures.

I did this during EQ1 on a board and it went over pretty well. Though I am level 35 now and I should have started it earlier, I think it will still be fun.

Anyone can feel free to post at anytime on it. I will just be adding a post after each day I adventure. Since I play WAY more than my wife would like me too, I will probably have a post almost everyday.

I will start with last night.

Still at level 34, I was going to hit the turtles again on the beach in Enchanted Lands. But then I thought....hmm that is getting a little predictable so, I decided to go to runney eye.

One thing I discovered is how easy it is to become over relaxed when just killing easy turtles on the beach. I just ran through the zone like I owned it and bam!! Got hit by some named...did not catch the name, or even see him for that matter, but I will start jotting these things down.

Set back out for runney eye and then this damn named hit me again....did not die this time, as pet had him busy for a sec, I ran like a little girl. Then I made my way toward Runney Eye. Man...there are so many mobs in the way...So I invised and avoided the floating eyeballs.

When I zoned in the mobs seemed low enough for me...but I could not do much damage. Not to mention I thought I was hitting a single but turned out to be a double (I am sure we have all done that).

So, after all that...I died again and decided it was not for me yet.

Went back to old reliable...killing turtles on the beach with the occasional goblin and spider thrown in just for fun. Soon I hit 35...woot!!! Got a slew of new spells including just for kicks...misty image. I like the effect. I stripped down to just my pants and ran through town. Was kind funny watching a pair of pants and daggers running through town with just a bit of hair floating above them.

Not sure where I will go tonight. Now that I am a level higher, I may try Runney Eye again.
