Lord Of The Rings Online: Downtime Scheduled Tuesday, August 28 7:00AM - 1:00PM ET

The LOTRO Game Servers will be brought down on on Tuesday, August 28 7:00AM - 1:00PM EDT (-5 GMT) for an update to the game. Click here to read about changes. Roheryn will remain up and available during the downtime. Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game soon!

The following changes will be made in the August 28 patch:

• The Book 1, Chapter 11 boss, Sambrog, will no longer reset during battle
• Fixed an issue preventing some players from entering Chicken, Troll, or Ranger session play
• Fixed an issue which was unintentionally allowing Troll and Ranger session players to join raid groups
• Pets will no longer steal XP from their owners' kills
• Fixed an issue that was causing pets to be unresponsive in certain situations
• Fixed some NPC-related server performance issues
• Normal Decaying Hands have been returned to the game with a normal Beryl shard drop rate
