Friday Update: Funcom And The Five-O: Tales From Dragoncon

| 7 Sep 2007 17:14

With DragonCon over, FunCom gives us the scoop on its experience at the Atlanta convention. Just about everyone who made it out to the Con got to play Age of Conan, and many reports have followed on the forums detailing their experiences. For a different take, FunCom talks about it's experiences showing the game to their fans. Someone even offered their first born son for a beta key! (For those who're saying to themselves 'Pics or it didn't happen!' well they've got em!)

We can be a bit more casual, talk to fans, have a good time, and say, "Hey, everyone wants to see the Demonologist, let's bring it out next round." Most importantly, we're able to get the game into the hands of regular fans and players. Anyone who made it to Atlanta and got a convention badge could play, and judging by the reports on the forums and all the people we ran into, quite a lot of you did.
