RPG Vault has the latest "sneak peek" available. This time, the article focuses on the Red Wizard enclave of Thaymount:

No locale could be more fitting for such an unforgiving bunch than the Thaymount, a stretch of volcanic mountains set atop the plateau of High Thay, and indeed, it is a popular destination for Red Wizards looking to set up bases of operations with no questions asked and no nosey neighbors. Towers and other complexes set upon these mountains tend to be placed on unreachable precipices, with heavy fortifications and trained guards... although, given the ladder-climbing mentality common among their order, such paranoia is well justified, perhaps even essential to survival.

Classes at the school are often theoretical or experimental - little of what is taught there is based on actual concrete results, though few would think possible some of the bizarre and extraordinary things that have been achieved there. The branches of study at the Academy usually correspond to the particular fixations and whims of the faculty at any given time, but study of the transference, splitting, fusing, replication, and artificial creation of souls is all at the heart of what they learn.
