RF Onlines Goes Free To Play

Codemasters Online has changed the business model on their science-fiction realm vs. realm MMORPG RF Online. Previously, the game had required a box copy and a subscription fee. Now, it is free to play and that the box copy is no longer required.

When contacted, RF Online explained that the game will continue to support itself through microtransactions. Players can buy things for their character in the game's Novus Market.

Codemasters Online is pleased to announce that RF Online is now a completely free-to-play MMORPG with the full game now available for download with no monthly subscription required.
